Brandon T. Beal, M.D. is a native of St.Louis, Missouri. He graduated summa cum laude from the Saint Louis University Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. He earned his medical degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he received the Distinction in Research Award. He completed his dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where he led the creation of one of the largest research registries in the country dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas.
Dr. Beal has authored numerous research papers and presented nationally on high-risk skin cancer. His reseach has been supporteed by grants from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Cleveland Clinic. He received the American Society for Dermatology Surgery's Young Investigator Writing Competition Award for his resarch examining how patients' body image improves after Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Beal's medical interests include evidence-based medicine, melanoma and complex facial reconstruction.
Dr. Beal played Division I college baseball, sailed in the 2017 North American Championships, and enjoys traveling, exercising, and surfing.
